Client stories

How sustainability teams, and the advisers who support them, use Impacto. Every story is dated, approved by the people in it, and clear about what was and wasn’t independently checked.

Company team story

Story slot

For a story from a company sustainability team, sourced through a customer interview and approved in writing.

Company team story

Story slot

Ideally a group bringing several business areas or subsidiaries into one picture.

Adviser story

Story slot

Ideally an Australian practice supporting several clients from one place.

Prototype noteDashed cards are layout slots, not stories. Public sources name no current company-team clients, so these need new, permissioned interviews. Aim for two or three strong stories at launch rather than a logo wall.

How we tell client stories.

We hold our stories to the standard we ask of sustainability information: every claim has a source.

Dated.

Each story shows when it was written and when it was last checked with the client.

Approved.

The people and organisations named have approved the words, the figures and the use of their name.

Reported, not inflated.

Figures say who reported them and how they were measured. Reporting progress is never presented as performance.

Clear about assurance.

We say when something has been independently assured, at what level and by whom, and when it hasn’t.
